This beautiful classic Jaguar Mk2 restored from a bare shell by West Riding, began life as Tourists Trophy Garage’s original Mk2 demonstrator. The car was recently purchased at auction by a client before being handed to West Riding for a full restoration.

The car is identical to the original except for a few modern upgrades as chosen by the client to make the car more driveable. The upgrades include electric power steering and a Brembo braking system.

Although, the modifications exclude the car from concourse events, the car has still been described by experienced vintage Jaguar enthusiasts as probably the finest Mark 2 Jaguar in the world today.

That said, museums or concourse events were never the plan for this car, the car was always meant to be a driver’s car. And, what a beautiful driver’s car it is.
