Richard Butterfield Leads the Pack

Yet Another 1st

Yet another 1st for West Riding Race and Restoration as Richard Butterfield drives his vintage Jaguar MK2, restored and race prepared by West Riding, to a class victory on its maiden voyage in the 2017 Jaguar Enthusiasts Club (JEC) Autumn classic at Castle Combe.

The meeting was a double success for West Riding as Pete Dorlin, seen following above in his Mk2, achieved a well deserved 2nd place.

Everyone at West Riding is extremely pleased with the overall result, particularly as Richard’s newly restored and race prepared Mk2 Jaguar finished with a 13 second winning margin, a significant accomplishment in such a highly competitive and popular race series.

Here are some more images of Richard Butterfield’s class winning Mk2 Jaguar to enjoy. The images capture the racing action from Castle Combe, as well as showing the car under development at West Riding.
